Completing the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra deepened my appreciation for the Pañcha Tattva — earth, water, fire, air, and space — the very elements I work with in every Vastu consultation and Reiki session. I did not walk toward Kailash expecting anything in particular. I walked because something in me needed to. What I found, step by step, was patience I did not know I had — the kind that comes only from thin air, steep passes, and no choice but to keep moving.
Humility came easily in front of a mountain that has stood since before memory. Gratitude arrived with every stranger who offered a hand, every guide who watched over us, every quiet morning that began again. And devotion, which I thought I understood, revealed itself as something far simpler than ritual — a willingness to keep showing up.
These lessons did not stay on the mountain. They came home with me, into the way I listen to a family describing their house, into the care I take before offering guidance, into the belief that a home, like a pilgrimage, is built one considered step at a time.
